Why It Matters
Ocean Blue Tree was born from a simple belief: that small, focused support can spark big waves of change. It was founded by two ocean lovers who, after spending time in the water and working alongside scientists and local communities, saw both the ocean’s beauty and the threats it faces, and felt compelled to act.
We created Ocean Blue Tree to help, in a way that is practical, direct, and purposeful. Not by doing everything ourselves, but by supporting the people already doing the hard work on the ground (and in the water). We believe that when the right support reaches the right hands, incredible things can happen.
This mission matters because the ocean is at the heart of everything. It feeds us, regulates our climate, connects us, and it’s in trouble. But it’s also resilient. With care, collaboration, and curiosity, we believe there’s still time to turn things around.
