Since 2012, Alex has lived and worked in Indonesia as an underwater videographer and photographer.
Alex’s work has been featured on the Discovery Channel, Netflix’s Our Oceans, the Gasometer’s “Planet Ocean” exhibition, and the UN Building in New York, just to name a few of the venues that have displayed his work.

Alfonso was born in Valladolid, Spain. Driven by his passion for the ocean, he left behind his corporate life over 20 years ago and set sail for Southeast Asia. Since then, he has worked as a cruise director on various boats across Thailand, Burma, and Indonesia. His love for the sea didn’t stop at diving—over the years, he became an accomplished underwater photographer.
Alfonso has also collaborated with Ocean Blue Tree on several expeditions, capturing the beauty of marine life and supporting conservation efforts through his lens.

Edwar Herreno is an award-winning underwater photographer and marine biologist from Colombia dedicated to capturing the beauty of marine life.
His work has been featured in productions by CNN, BBC, National Geographic, and other international media. With extensive expertise in local marine ecosystems, he has guided expeditions alongside renowned underwater photographers.

Erick Higuera is a Mexican marine biologist, wildlife cinematographer, and National Geographic Explorer specializing in marine ecosystems.
For over 20 years, he has documented marine wildlife in Baja California, Guadalupe Island, and the Mexican Pacific, with his work featured by BBC, Netflix, Discovery Channel, and National Geographic. He has co-authored scientific studies on orcas and giant manta rays and has led a long-term research project on oceanic manta rays since 2006.

Felix Barra is a highly accomplished Mexican professional photographer based in Cancún. His diverse portfolio includes commercial and product photography for major hotels and brands.
He has received numerous prestigious awards in international photography competitions, including first place at the "Haz Click con México" competition in 2019 and 2022.

Juan Bonilla is a documentary filmmaker and cinematographer with over 20 years of experience, specializing in producing content focused on marine conservation and the exploration of underwater ecosystems.
He holds a degree in Communication from ITESM-CEM and a master's in Documentary Filmmaking from the Barcelona Film School. Throughout his career, he has participated in various expeditions worldwide, capturing stories that raise awareness about marine life and its preservation.

Luis Javier Sandoval is an award-winning underwater photographer from Mexico. His stunning images capture the beauty of marine life, from playful sea lions to majestic whale sharks.

Ramon Estrada is a Mexican dive instructor and underwater photographer. His passion for the ocean began at a very early age. Since then, he has lived and worked in several countries, including Egypt, Thailand, Indonesia, and Mexico.
His love for the ocean has inspired him to become actively involved in marine conservation, documenting marine life in remote locations across the globe. He has been collaborating with Ocean Blue Tree since 2018.

Tom Sparke is an underwater videographer and technical diver with experience diving in some of the world’s most remote and biodiverse marine environments, including the Arctic, Indonesia, Patagonia, the Galapagos, and Sudan.
He spent three years with Ocean Blue Tree, where he was proud to contribute to the Baby Shark Project, which led to the establishment of a new marine protected area in Ecuador.
Today, Tom focuses on developing innovative financial instruments to mobilize private sector support for marine conservation.
