Bull sharks return to Cabo Pulmo.

Ocean Blue Tree has supported the continued monitoring of shark dynamics in Cabo Pulmo National Park, Mexico. Pelagios Kakunja scientists are using a combination of methods to better understand shark population dynamics. Methods include drones, terrestrial and underwater surveys, monitoring environmental conditions and acoustic telemetry. Bull shark sightings have become more frequent in recent years providing strong evidence that well managed marine protected areas can recover shark species.
